Project Vida, After the Offering

In 1996, Presbyterian Women awarded a Birthday Offering grant of $170,000 to Project Vida in El Paso, Texas. The grant helped grow a daycare that has since become a child development center and a hub that supports learners all the way to high school, as well as youth entrepreneurs.  This article, by Rhonda Mawhood Lee, describes the flourishing program that the Birthday Offering helped form.
